Barrel-Aged Tempranillo Red Wine 2010

Interest red color with purple reflections in the rim and light reddish glints.  its aroma notes intense red over-ripe fruit covered with vanilla and a subtle toasted taste provided by the oak barrels. Its way through the mouth is powerful full-flavoured and velvety, and with a hint of sweetness and fruit and with a long and persistent after taste.

 
 

Tasting note

VARIETY

Tempranillo. Vines of more than 40 years old, bush planted yielding yields under 5000kg/ha

SOIL

Vineyards are planted 700m above sea level, clay-limestone soil. Grown by sustainable methods.

AGEING

12 months in American & French 225 liters barrel.

FOOD MATCHES

It is recommended to decant before serving, and is the perfect match to most meals, working well with cured meats, and flavoured cheeses,  stews,  roasts, pasta and rice.
