Barrel-Aged Tempranillo Red Wine 2011

Cherry red color with purple shades and a strong aroma of ripe fruit with a well-integrated oak flavor with vanilla and dairy touches. Its fleshy in the mouth with sweet tannin and balsamic airs about it.

 
 

Tasting note

VARIETY

Tempranillo, vines of more than 40 years old, with bushes yielding  under 5000kg/ha.

SOIL

Vineyards are planted 700 m above sea level, clay-limestone soil. Grown by sustainable methods.

AGEING

6 months in American & French 225 liter barrels.

FOOD MATCHES

It is recommended to decant before serving, Drink as an aperitif, ideal for accompanying dishes of red meat, all sorts of stews and roasts.
